Be Worth It
Ezekiel 32:7-14; Psalms 106:19-23; John 5:31-47
Ever since the time of Adam and Eve, we have always been inconsistent and unfaithful in our relationship with God. The moment we experience a bit of His blessings, we forget about Him. We seek a name for ourselves to gain approval from among ourselves, when in truth, all the glory comes from Him who made us.
We are lucky to have faithful ones among us to spare us from God’s pruning on us. Abraham, Moses, and others faithful people of God, they all interceded on our behalf to prevent us from being chastised by God. Even Jesus had sacrificed Himself to save us.
Let us be one of these holy ones who would make the Lord reconsider whenever He has plans of pruning the world through chastisement. Let us pray for everyone and let us be one of those worth saving. Let us influence each other to abide by the teachings of Jesus, rather than influence one another into a life of sin.
