Isaiah 55:1-11; Isaiah 12:2-6; 1 John 5:1-9; Mark 1:7-11
All of the saints breathed, eat and lived their faith. While most of us love humanity, they loved men. While we embraced Christianity, they embraced Christ. A look into their lives will tell you that their religion was not just theories to them, bur a passionate love affair with the Lord. They had a real relationship with the Lord.
If you recall the baptism of Jesus by John, you would remember how God humbly came down from heaven and went through everything that we went through just so that He may be known as someone who we can love, laugh and cry with, someone who’s shoulders we can lean on, and at the same time, a god who we can relate to. Yet, He is our creator, and lacks short of His awesome power and glory!
Isaiah 55: 10-11 states, “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” The Lord’s words are all over the bible, for anyone who seeks His love and His blessings. The Lord also makes His presence known through the turns of events in our life, the people around us, and in the blessings and trials that we undergo. If we realize how much He has makes Himself available to us, we’ll realize how special we are to Him and how much He loves us, and how near He is to us.
