Zechariah 2:5-15; Jeremiah 31:10-13; Luke 9:43-45
The passages in the bible that I read today speaks of our possible harmonious relationship with God as long as we follow what He wills of us. He is to us like how we are to our children, especially babies. When your first-born babies begin to walk and explore, you have to remove anything that could pose as danger for the baby, and the house suddenly looks like a playground.
If we can be that dedicated to our babies, God can be all that and more with us, as long as we set up the place for Him to dwell in us. In our homes, we should get rid of things that may not reflect His goodness nor His ways. Things such as ashtrays, Buddha statues, and other stuff should be removed if God is to dwell in our homes. The kind of dedication and attention that we give to our children should also be given to God.
If Jesus would stay in your house today, would He feel at home?
May our homes reflect God’s holiness and beauty.
