Reflections From The Bible And Life

A Call To Be True Servants Of God

1 Thessalonians 1:2-10; Psalm 149:1-9; Matthew 23:13-22

The bible teaches us that how we do things is not really important as why we do such things. God blesses those who do things for His glory and not out of self-glorification, self-recognition, and winning favors and material blessings. God could see our innermost intention no matter how well we may hide it from others. This could be easily corrected if we are filled with God’s love and nothing else.

It’s clearly stated in the bible that God despises those who try to manipulate others using His name for their own personal gains and satisfaction. It is wrong for us to try to manipulate God, and even more with manipulating others to do things you want them to do to the point of leading them to sin.

In the end, you will be held accountable for the souls that you have wrongly influenced, aside from your own sins.
