Reflections From The Bible And Life

Never Let Go

Exodus 34:29-35; Psalm 99:5-9; Matthew 13:44-46

God’s kingdom is like a treasure buried in a field which one discovers and sells everything just to acquire the field that contains it. When we find something which strikes to us as coming from the Lord, we are filled with passion that we will do anything to acquire it.

A good example would be when God blesses you with the chance to meet the person who you desire deep in your heart. When you get the chance to get to know this person, you will exhaust everything to gain that person’s heart so you could be with him/her, right?

Likewise if you love God, you would always feel the urge to accomplish things for His glory, and you would do you best to achieve these things, even if it means leaving your comfort zone and trying out new things and ways just to achieve the best results. Think of God as your better half, and you have this desire to win His heart.

We should never let Him go.
