Ignorance Is not An Excuse
Acts 13:26-33; Psalm 2:6-11; John 14:1-6;
Do we see God‘s hand and presence in everything that we do? We can be too preoccupied with our daily chores, responsibilities to ourselves, our families, friends etc. that we forget that God is in every one of us, and has a hand in everything. As we act upon our chores and other stuff, we should be mindful of the fact that God is involved in all our actions. How we treat one another and how we do things and what things that hold us dear that is of real importance to us reflect how well we know God and follow His ways.
Jesus made it clear that He alone is the way to the Father. If we are too busy doing the work for the Lord that we don’t have time to know the Lord of the work, then we might find ourselves knocking on heaven’s gate and being denied entrance. Jesus might be standing at the gate but you wouldn’t recognize Him because you didn’t take time while you were on earth to know the One you were supposedly serving. As God’s servants, we can’t serve well unless we know our master and His needs.
